  • 1 Kg Self Raising Flower
  • 10ml Salt
  • 10ml Baking Powder
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Cups Oats
  • 3 Cups All Bran Flakes
  • 8.82 ounces">250g Raisins
  • 2 Cups Sunflower Seeds or Almonds
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Buttermilk
  • 17.64 ounces">500g Butter,melted

  1. Mix dry ingredients together.
  2. Beat eggs and buttermilk together.
  3. Add to dry ingredients and mix to form a dough. Spoon into a large baking dish.
  4. Bake at 356 degrees Fahrenheit">180°C for 1 hour.
  5. Cut into rusks and place on foil covered oven racks and dry in 212 degrees Fahrenheit">100°C oven for 15.56 degrees Celsius">4-6 hours
